Archiarchy is the new emerging culture on Earth
Dear Archan Friends,
If you are authentically interested in personal as well as collective healing and transformation, you have probably come to the realisation that most of the causes of physical illnesses, psychological or mental health issues, economic and social disparities, climate emergency, wars, rising authoritarianism — also known as Metacrisis — all come from the current way society, or culture, is made.
Currently the mainstream global modern culture (some call it modernity or patriarchy) is perfectly designed and primed to create exactly this Metacrisis. How could it not? It is a culture designed in avoiding responsibility at all costs to succeed. How? It is a culture based on the premise of taking the labor and resources of others for ones' sustenance, wealth, and success, without care or reciprocity of giving or creating, thus destroying everything in its wake. This is what little children do.
For the irresponsible culture design to work, the players in that culture must be willingly blind and dumb to the destruction and suffering that prop up their success. Think about the doctors that assisted in the Nazi concentration camps. They develop incredible skills to gaslight themselves so to view their own doings as free of culpability, remorse, or any kind of pain. They need to hide from anyone’s sight the harm that they do so they can benefit from it and still see themselves as good hard-working, merit-driven people. If they do not keep up this farce constantly, they would collapse under the horror that they cause.
How do they do this? They emotionally numb themselves through education, entertainment, and social normativity. They strive to become in effect psychopaths and sociopaths.
This is what is happening throughout the planet.
The thing is that no culture exists without its players. If you are reading this, most chances are that this is the culture that you were born into. This is the culture that you have probably tried at some point or another to belong to, adapt to, or succeed in. Maybe you are still trying at it. That makes you one of its players. The metacrisis exists not because of a few Trumps, Jeff Bezos, or the DuPonts or Rothchilds in the world. The Metacrisis exists because of the billions of people who play in the modern culture game, regardless of how well they play.
This can be a hard pill to swallow. You could forget about all this and refuse to see your participation. Or you can face it, with other people, and together clean up the mess.
My recommendation is that you do not try to reconcile or excuse your playing in the game of Modern Culture. Don’t try to make yourself feel ‘better’. Do not wallow in attention-seeking guilt or shame, or indulge in self-punishment either. Gaia and Life (and also you) don’t have time for those kinds of theatrics and none of those responses create any change. Instead learn to feel consciously your Anger, Sadness, and Fear about your participation in the damage made. Learn to feel in a team so that you are not alone and fall into loops of self-harm or gaslighting. Allow the energy of your Feelings to tell you about what is your parts in cleaning up the Metacrisis mess. That is what Feelings are for. Learn to feel the Joy of finally being able to feel what is happening, and what your soul is burning for, instead of trying to hide it. How can you do this? Design your life in such a way that you participate in a Rage Club, Fear Club, Heart Gym, Possibility Team, or Expand The Box Training.
Then do whatever you can to be on a team creating a culture more congruent to your soul, instead of the patriarchal ‘needs’, such as a ‘need’ to fit in, make money, have a partner, understand, have success, be on top, have more material things, having control, being right, or having security. Become better at repairing than breaking. Become more proficient at giving than taking. Become more talented at collaborating than competing and isolating.
Document whatever successes and mistakes you make. Share them often, far and wide so that others can learn from your path, and create the kind of colleagueship where your colleagues do the same with you.
If no culture exists without its players, then who can stop you from creating another game, from completely leaving the game of Modern Culture, and inventing a new one? We are calling the next culture after matriarchy and patriarchy or modern culture have run their course Archiarchy. A new epochal culture where it is about giving more than taking, about sourcing rather than consuming.
How can you become better at giving more than taking? You grow up. You go through Authentic Adulthood Initiations, and face into your capacity to cause the results you have been causing, and go through Authentic Adulthood Healing Processes so that you unblock what has been blocking you to create, to invent, to source, to collaborate, to be in relationship, to live in integrity with life on this planet and your own calling. You can design your life in such a way that you find yourself in an Expand The Box Training or a Possibility Lab, or any other authentic space after which you become someone else, capable and willing to roll up your sleeves and create Archiarchy. Authentic Adults are not people who do not make mistakes or do not make messes, they are people who recognise how they cause the current results they experience, and shift accordingly.
In fact this journey of shifting accordingly does not have to be all suffering. You can learn to enjoy the delights of living according in Integrity, and inventing new cultures with others!
There are many Archiarchy Invention Centers waiting to be created by you. There are many Archan professions needed to support the end of modern culture, the bridging to Archiarchy, the repair of life on earth, and development of new social organisational frameworks (like Grownesses instead of businesses) based on new more radically responsible, generative, and Archan Values.
